The Juniper 4-port ISDN BRI Physical Interface Modules (PIMs) are for use with the J4300 and J6300 Services Routers. These PIMs include four physical ports and support ISDN BRI S/T or ISDN BRI U interface types.

- JX-4BRI-S-S 4-port ISDN BRI S/T interface card
- JX-4BRI-U-S 4-port ISDN BRI U interface card
The Juniper 4-port ISDN BRI PIM provides the physical connection to ISDN network media types receiving incoming packets from the network and transmitting outgoing packets to the network. The Juniper 4-port ISDN BRI PIM is equipped with a dedicated network processor that forwards incoming data packets to the Routing Engine and receives outgoing data packets from the Routing Engine while performing framing and line-speed signaling.
The Juniper ISDN PIM provides the following benefits:
